Instructor

I’m passionate about fostering inclusive and consent-forward spaces that celebrate the joyful exploration of movement.

As a movement instructor, I draw on my diverse background in ground-based and aerial acrobatics, physical theater, weight lifting, dance, and functional anatomy. I believe expressive movement can be revolutionary, and that it is most definitely for everyone! In a culture that has fooled many of us into believing there is one right way to have and move a body, my teaching participates in the world-changing work of using movement to further personal exploration and liberation. By helping people understand their own biomechanics and by finding pathways that work for each person in a room, I hope to nuture a love of movement in my students.

I teach adult students at the recreational and professional levels at Esh Circus Arts in Somerville, MA, where I am CEO and co-owner. I also offer continuing education workshops for circus educators on a variety of topics, including acrobatic technique, strategies for teaching multi-level groups, and fostering consent-based classrooms. I’m available to travel for workshops - get in touch if you’d like to connect!
