Choreographer

For more than two decades, I’ve been telling stories through movement.

My choreographic process is rooted in collaboration. Whether creating work for a solo circus artist or an ensemble, my choreography honors the autonomy and expression of each artist, while also revealing my own brand of clear storytelling and clean movement. I have completed choreographic commissions for a number of private and institutional clients over the years, including Artists for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Peabody Essex Museum. Recent projects include aerial choreography for the New England regional premier of Swept Away with SpeakEasy Stage.

In my personal choreographic work, I seek to subvert gender roles in circus, uplift queer identity, and reimagine a world where human interactions center kindness. I was honored for my choreographic work as a Next Steps for Boston Dance grantee in 2025, and as a Live Arts Boston grantee in 2021 with Circus 617. I have received additional support for my work from The Boston Foundation; Mass Cultural Council; and the Iguana Fund.

My work as an intimacy director is built on my extensive experience building consent-based classroom and rehearsal spaces. I bring a performer’s lived experience, a choreographer’s eye for movement, and a teacher’s empathy and skill for ensuring the safety and comfort of everyone involved in the production. I work with the director, creative team, and performers to ensure that scenes of intimacy are told with authenticity and clarity. I have particular expertise in scenes with heightened physicality, and work that deals with LGBTQ+ themes. Recent projects include work with the Contemporary American Theater Festival, and the Winsor School in Boston MA.
